I'm getting everything ready for the first fluid change in a new L3410 and I've come up to the question of whether to buy the UDT hydro fluid or the Super UDT fluid. Is the Super UDT worth the extra money? What is the difference between the two?

From my experience , if your tractor has the Glide Shift transmission, I would use the Super. It seems to help them shift smoother, and quieter. If you have a gear drive transmission, I would save the extra bucks. ....

At the latest Kubot school that issue was addressed and the instructors basically said that the UDT was a thinner oil for the GST and hydro trans. I have seen both used in the GST and highly recommend the "super" it makes it a lot smother and the shifts are quicker. if you have any more questions please drop me an e-mail and I will be happy to help ya.Jim ....

My understanding from my dealer is that the Super UDT is specifically for the GST/HST. Manuals use only UDT. ....
